About Us

Daniel is the Operations Manager at Thomson Family Dental. He grew up in Southeast Alabama before making Georgia home with his family more than 12 years ago. Since moving to Georgia, he has built his career in dentistry and developed a passion for helping create a positive experience for both patients and team members. He earned his bachelor's degree from Auburn University and his master's degree from Troy University.

As Operations Manager, Daniel enjoys working alongside the doctors and exceptional staff at Thomson Family Dental to provide high-quality care and ensure that every patient feels welcomed and valued. He takes pride in helping the practice deliver excellent service while building lasting relationships with patients and their families.

Outside of the office, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, attending Auburn football and baseball games with his three sons, and playing the guitar.

Railey has been a dental assistant for nearly five years and loves building relationships with patients while helping them feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits. She takes pride in providing compassionate, high-quality care and enjoys being part of a team that helps patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.

When she’s not at the office, Railey enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two boys, Chipper and Hudson. She is also a dedicated Georgia Bulldogs fan and loves cheering on the Dawgs during football season.

Tasha has been a valued member of our team since 2017 and has over 31 years of experience in the dental field. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1995 and is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. Tasha enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and is dedicated to providing gentle, compassionate care while making every visit a positive experience.

Outside of the office, Tasha enjoys thrifting, relaxing at the lake, and spending time doing the things she loves. Her warm personality and years of experience make her a trusted and cherished part of our dental family.

Katie is a registered dental hygienist who graduated from Augusta University in 2021. She has spent the past five years serving patients at Thomson Family Dental, where she is passionate about creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient she sees. Katie loves getting to know her patients and enjoys catching up on their life milestones and achievements at each recall visit.

She takes pride in helping patients feel confident about their smiles while also educating them on the importance of oral hygiene and its connection to overall health.

Outside of the office, Katie enjoys riding ATV’s with her husband and spending time on the lake with her kids.

Casie is a dedicated Dental Hygienist who graduated from the Athens Technical College Dental Hygiene Program in 2011. Her passion for dentistry began while working as a dental assistant alongside her childhood dentist, where she received chairside training and later became a Certified Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions before pursuing dental hygiene. She finds great joy in educating patients about the connection between oral health and overall wellness while helping even the most anxious patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident during their visits.

Her goal is to build lasting relationships, encourage healthy habits, and provide compassionate, high-quality care that supports a lifetime of healthy smiles. Casie is grateful to be part of such a wonderful dental team and truly appreciates the support of her coworkers as they work together to provide exceptional care for every patient.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, making memories outdoors, visiting family, and caring for their beloved pets.

A graduate of the Medical College of Georgia in 2011, Krystal has dedicated her career to helping patients achieve optimal oral health. She earned her Master of Public Health from Kaplan University in 2014, further strengthening her commitment to preventive care and patient education.

As a Registered Dental Hygienist and Qualified Myofunctional Therapist, she is passionate about the connection between oral health and total body wellness, empowering patients to improve their overall health through comprehensive, personalized care.

Outside of the office, Krystal enjoys spending quality time with her family at the lake and exploring new fitness routines that support her own healthy lifestyle.

Heather has been a dental assistant for over 20 years and has proudly been a part of the Thomson Family Dental team for the past year. She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits. She finds it especially rewarding to see patients improve their oral health and leave the office smiling.

Outside of the office, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loves camping, taking walks with her Goldendoodle, Willow, and making memories with her family. Her faith is an important part of her life and inspires her to treat others with kindness, compassion, and respect each day.

Shamain has been dedicated to the dental field for over 44 years, beginning her career after graduating from the Augusta Technical College Dental Assisting Program in 1982. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in expanded functions, working alongside several dental specialists, and proudly served our nation’s veterans for 16 years at Charlie Norwood Hospital.

Shamain is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and helping every patient feel comfortable during their visit.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Living on the lake allows her to enjoy boating and relaxing with family, and she also loves cooking for her loved ones and traveling whenever she gets the chance.

Allison has been working in the dental field for over three years and enjoys helping patients feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they walk through the door. Before joining the dental profession, she spent 17 years working with children, developing a caring, patient-centered approach that she brings to every interaction.

Outside of the office, Allison loves spending time with her family and friends. She is a proud mom to her 18-year-old daughter, who is beginning her college journey at Georgia Southern University, and her 9-year-old son, who is excited to start fourth grade. Family time is what she values most, and she enjoys making lasting memories with her loved ones.

Kristen is a Dental Hygienist who graduated from the Athens Technical College Dental Hygiene Program in 2025. Prior to dental hygiene school, Kristen graduated from the Athens Technical College Dental Assisting Program, where she worked as a Certified Dental Assistant for a year prior to pursuing dental hygiene.

As a Registered Dental Hygienist, Kristen is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care while helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles. She believes that building trust, listening to each patient's concerns, and creating a comfortable environment are essential parts of delivering exceptional dental care. Kristen’s goal is to ensure every patient feels respected, informed, and confident throughout their visit.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time on the farm with her fiancé, their Labrador Retriever, and Golden Retriever, and visiting family.

Alayah Frazier is a 22-year-old Dental Assistant who has been assisting for over a year at Thomson Family Dental. She is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles and loves seeing familiar faces return to the office.

Outside of work, Alayah enjoys traveling and exploring new places. She has visited 19 states and 6 countries, and she looks forward to many more adventures in the future. She is proud to be part of such an amazing team that works hard to turn every frown upside down.
