Dr. Charles Spicer
Charles Spicer was born in Macon, Georgia and grew up in Hephzibah, Georgia. He did his undergraduate course work at the University of Georgia with a major in Biology. After that, he pursued dentistry at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. He likes to stay on top of the latest dental research to give his patients the best care and experience. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has three children, ages 6, 3, and 1. In his spare time he likes Kayaking and doing activities with his kids.
Dr. Quynh Spicer
Dr. Quynh Spicer grew up in Augusta, GA. She graduated from John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School and then started her undergraduate at the University of Georgia where she majored in Biology. She was a stay at home mom for her oldest for two years when she found her calling in dentistry and was accepted to The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. During her time in dental school, she gave birth to her second girl and her youngest child. She is a current member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Facial Esthetics. Quynh is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Charles Spicer. In her spare time, she loves to explore her artistic skills with illustrations and photography. She is very excited to be a part of Thomson and to help serve the Thomson community and provide the people with the best dental care possible.
Dr. Amanda Engelbart
Amanda Engelbart was born and raised in small town Nebraska. She attended undergraduate school at Wayne State College, majoring in Biology. Her lifelong passion for dentistry led her to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was here that she met her significant other on the first day, and they decided to embark on a new adventure in Georgia after completing their dental degrees. During her time in dental school, Amanda was an active member of the ADA, Academy of General Dentistry, Student Association for Rural Health, and graduated with honors. Outside of her professional life, Amanda enjoys running, trying new baking recipes, and reading interesting mystery books. She is thrilled to start her new chapter in Georgia and join the Thomson Family Dental Team, where she looks forward to helping patients achieve confident and healthy smiles.
Tasha
Tasha grew up in Thomson, GA. She has worked locally for 22 years as a dental hygienist. She attended Georgia Southern University for 2 years prior to being accepted to the MCG dental hygiene program where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in 1995. Patient advocacy has been a passion of hers as well as working through treatment concerns and establishing strong patient relationships. As a hygienist, it is her priority to give excellent patient care in a calm and caring manner. She has been married for 17 years to her wonderful husband Mike and they have one daughter named Sara Delle. In her free time, she enjoys being with friend and family, watching Georgia football, shopping, and caring for their many animals on their hobby farm.
